Sarah Bartlett holds a Degree in nursing from the University of the West of Scotland as well as her Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy amongst other hypnotherapy certifications.
Working with clients to resolve a wide range of problems, Sarah uses a client centred approach ensuring the therapy suits the individual.
This includes Stop Smoking, Weight Management, Inner Conflict Resolution, Traumas, Phobias, Sexual Problems, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Hypnotherapy also helps with Enhancement of Performance in Sports, Building Confidence and in general helping to make your life happier!
Sarah works with hypnotherapy both Reykjavik, Iceland and in the UK, with Glasgow being her base. Her sessions are in English only.

Sarah’s first year of hypnosis she mainly worked part time whilst nursing as she thoroughly enjoys both. John Sellars gave her the opportunity to assist him teaching some of his Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis courses in Reykjavik, Iceland, Glasgow and Eastbourne, UK, therefore most of her time was focused on teaching alongside working for her own part time hypnotherapy practice in Glasgow.
Sarah Bartlett now works in hypnotherapy full time. She practices in Reykjavik and Scotland covering most of the central belt, mostly in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Later this year she will be working with Roy Hunter to teach his Parts Therapy Reykjavik.
Sarah enjoys all aspects of her work and finds it hard to choose a speciality.
“I enjoy all of my hypnotherapy work, I really enjoy seeing the great results from a wide variety of cases it is therefore too difficult to just pick one!”
As Sarah values learning, to continue to grow within her occupation & keeping up to date with new techniques, she has co-founded, not-for-profit, The Scottish Hypnotherapy Society which is still in its early days. The main emphasis is on training for the hypnotherapy practitioner, to ensure the best and latest treatment for the client, and bringing the training to Scotland for easier access to all the Scotland based Hypnotherapists.
Sarah Bartlett is also on the Ethics Committee and Deputy Board for Félag Dáleiðslutækna (Hypnotherapy Association) in Iceland.

“Since I was old enough to have a paper round at 13, I have always worked. I have tried most things, from a waitress, shop assistant, cleaner, bar work, home help, auxiliary nurse, secretary, technical assistant, events administrator, office manager.
I have now settled down in the caring profession & I hold a BSc. in Nursing and work as a Clinical hypnotherapist as well as a Hypnotherapy Trainer”
Sarah Bartlett is a Licencee (LHS) member of the National Hypnotherapy Society .She is also registered by the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), the UK regulator for complementary healthcare. Practitioners registered with the CNHC meet national occupational standards and abide by a rigorous code of conduct, performance and ethics.
Sarah Bartlett remains a registered nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
Sarah Bartlett is covered by profession indemnity insurance with Howden.
Sarah also is a voluntary Community First Responder with the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) as well as First Aider with St. Andrew’s Dennistoun Company.
